Events and cultural activities in Nafplio and Argolis for the four-day period of August 13-16, 2026 include the Cultural Nafpliada , local art exhibitions and regional festivities for the 15th of August.

In Nea Kio , on Sunday, August 9, 2026, from 9 p.m.
You will always win something, for the Feast of the Virgin Mary (Assumption of the Virgin Mary), while for the prefecture of Corinth and Arcadia (with the highlight being the Tegea festival), the dates have already been announced.

August 13: Start of cultural activities and local events in the wider region of Argolida. [ 1 ]

August 14: Preparations and vespers for the feast of the Virgin Mary in churches and villages of the Municipality of Nafplio (such as in Iria).

August 15 (20:30): Official opening of the Cultural Nafpliada 2026 by the Progressive Association of Nafplio "O Palamidis" with art exhibitions at Kolokotronis Park, piano by Theodosis Antoniadis and voice by Vangelis Zervopoulos. [ 1 ]

August 16 (20:30): Literary evening at Kolokotronis Park with the theme "Texts about the Sea" by ESLA and a tribute in the context of Cultural Nafpliada.
