11th Mediterranean Yacht Show at the Port of Nafplio

The Argolic capital becomes the epicenter of maritime tourism for 5 days, hosting in its picturesque harbor a multitude of impressive, luxurious pleasure boats and their crews. The Mediterranean Yacht Show, which is organized by the Hellenic Association of Maritime Tourism with the support of the Municipality of Nafplio, offers the opportunity to an international audience of charter brokers to see up close the boats available for charter in Greece and throughout the Eastern Mediterranean, to meet their crews and to be informed about the possibilities and options they offer. The Mediterranean Yacht Show is an important stop on the yachting agenda, thanks to the large number of participating boats, the excellent level of services it offers, as well as the idyllic location that hosts it.

MEDYS's contribution to the development and evolution of marine tourism in Greece and the Eastern Mediterranean is undeniable, attracting increasing interest from professionals in the field every year. The exhibition brings together central agents, brokers and exhibitors with services and products related to yachting, putting Greek marine tourism in the global spotlight.

Chefs' Competition

The Chefs Competition is now established to challenge the creativity, talent and skills of yacht chefs. Each year there is a specific theme. The jury will be, as always, excellent and the organizers have wasted no time in contacting restaurant chefs, who are creating a storm among cooking enthusiasts. As they say, it takes talent to recognize talent.

A program of social events, including receptions and parties, will add an extra dimension to the exhibition, aiming to provide an experience that is both productive and enjoyable.

During the same dates, the usual Local Products Exhibition, from local agricultural production and cottage industries, takes place at the port of Nafplio.

The Mediterranean Yacht Show is an initiative whose sole aim is the international promotion of high-standard Greek maritime tourism, which is the spearhead of Greek tourism.

The event is organized by the Hellenic Marine Tourism Association, under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism, with the support of the Municipality of Nafplio and the Region of Peloponnese.

The 10th MEDYS presented a record number of registrations with 115 yachts, with a total length of 3.7 kilometers of harbor and of these an equally impressive waiting list (18 boats, due to limited space in the port of Nafplio), which far exceeded that of previous years. The event attracted around 810 yachting professionals from 30 countries, who had the opportunity to inspect yachts with a Greek charter license, meet the crew and discover a wide range of services and products.
